Online Beauties: Free Magazines we love
blanket.jpg This is our (ongoing) list of some of our favourite online creative magazines, all of which are free for your downloading pleasure - please feel free to submit any we don't/should know/have forgotten about to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and read all the way to number 10, it's worth it. PS: Please note the copyright laws on ALL the e-mags below - they're working hard to bring you outstanding creativity and content, please respect this by not reproducing their work in any way or form without their permission in writing:

1.We'll kick off with Studio83 , a fresh and fun e-mag lovingly put together by the starshaking Johannesburg-born creative designer George Gladwin Matsheke. You can download the latest edition "Modern Man" for mahala ('free' in South African lingo) on the site as well as all previous editions... enjoy.

2.Staying close to home and hood, we then move to the lovely Lisboa, one of our favourite cities on earth, where we introduce you to our editor friend Carla Isadora and her team's fabulous free urban culture and fashion magazine Parq Mag , written in both Portuguese and English. We love it. Make sure to get amongst and download (all of them) the latest edition, number 7... NOW.

3.Hells Kitchen is a gritty in-your-face French fashion and urban culture magazine, even if you can't understand a word, the gr/awesome visuals that brush through cliched LA ghetto life, gangsters and even gayish gangsters, will keep you clicking.

4.This article would not be complete without zooming back down to the southern tip ofAfrica to Cape Town, to the home of the cool calm and collected One Small Seed, showcasing a smacking range of avant-guarde South African artists and designers. As it's a paying magazine in printform (we all gotta earn our keep), only the last 3 issues are available for download, but we assure you, they're all worth it.

5.Winding Road takes us away from design and onto the superhighway of speed freaks and car lovers, this impressive car magazine brims over with reviews, test drives, photos and images - the best news is they're on issue 38, which means there are 37 earlier motor mags to download.

6.Moving back to Lisboa, and may we remind you Lisbon is one of our favourite spots... and we introduce you to yet another great-looking mag, this time focussing on Arts and Culture. It's called Cru-A and is on it's 19th glossy-ish issue, which you can read for GRATOS...

7. Borne is the ultimate in fashion, arts and culture freely downloadable english language magazines, available TWICE a month - the lip-licking Borne is brought to you by it's dedicated team cosying up in the wee charming city of Glascow, Scotland. They're on edition five. Borne is a must.

8.Largely put together by an Australian team but aimed at a global audience and featuring an array of juicy gobsmacking worldwide creative talent, Blanket Magazine is a superb art, design and photography magazine that is well-worth the download for anyone interested in graphics, art and visual mindfeks. They're calling for submissions from artists, remember to click on 'past issues'.

9.We're proud to announce that for the first time ever, you can download the first edition of our JOVAreport, released in Feb of this year to our JOVAcommunity  and subscribers only.  We encourage you to hurry up and click here before we change our minds. Please send us a mail on This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it with your feedback and suggestions, we'd love to hear from you. If you'd like a copy of edition two or would like to join our community for edition three, please mail us on This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

10. Read number 9.
